Dr. Kalamarides is the Medical Director of the Vitae (Vee-tay) Clinic located in the heart of Austin, Texas. He graduated from Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine in 2005 and completed an osteopathic internship in 2006 and residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Sisters of Charity Hospital in Buffalo, New York in 2010.
Prior to medical school he worked at the Pope Paul VI Institute for the Study of Human Reproduction in Omaha, Nebraska where he helped his mentor, Dr. Hilgers, complete research for the definitive text “The Medical and Surgical Practice of NaProTechnology.” He is a Certified FertilityCare Medical Consultant CFCMC.
He is married to his wife Heather of 25 years this summer and the father of four children: Andrew, Sophia, Christopher and Luna. He has an appointment on the Austin Diocese Bishop’s Prolife Advisory Council.
His major interests are minimally invasive endometriosis and PCOS surgery, prevention of miscarriage, treatment of PMS and PCOS and holistic care of pregnant women.
